Yes, we ought to be thankful.  Allah knows best, and we have to bersyukur for all the kurniaan Allah.  Besides that, we have the responsibility to help others especially the less fortunate ones.  Share your happiness with them.. Do it for the sake of Allah and insya Allah you'll be a happy person. Trust me on this.

Yes, tomorrow we'll be going back to Perak.  I'm sure that Atah and Tok will be happy to see you.  Thus, please behave yourself.  Please sleep early tonite as me and your mother have to pack our stuffs.  Lets du'a for a smooth and safe journey tomorrow morning.  Tiredness, work was chaotic just now, i deserve a good rest.

Alhamdulillah, semoga kita dapat beribadah dan pelajari sunnah didalam bulan yang penuh barakah ini.  Jangan lalai dan terpesona dengan melakukan perbuatan yang sia-sia.

C r a s h B o o m B a n g

Late evening and it was raining in KL.  I was rushing back home and the traffic was quite heavy. Out of sudden a motorbike rider crashed into the car rear bumper.  I pulled over and quickly checked the damage. Alhamdulillah, nothing serious.  Immediately, I walked towards the poor guy, he was scratched all over her body, quite nasty cuts.  Asked whether he is alright and checked out his bike as well. Well, alhamdulillah he is alright.  Can't imagine if he is badly injured, broken bones or worst still, gone.  Yes, money can replace the damaged stuffs, even buy us new stuffs but not "Life".  The thing is always be thanful to Allah, and focus on the "Life" itself rather than the materials lingering around it.  Alhamdulillah.

"Sesungguhnya sebenar-benar perkataan adalah Kitabullah (al-Qur’an) dan sebaik-baik petunjuk adalah petunjuk Muhammad (as-Sunnah). Seburuk-buruk perkara adalah perkara yang diada-adakan (dalam agama), setiap yang diada-adakan (dalam agama) adalah bid’ah, setiap bid’ah adalah sesat, dan setiap kesesatan tempatnya di Neraka". Hadith Riwayat Abu Daud.

Went to hang out with Tok and Atah & co in Pandan Indah. Alhamdulillah, it is always good to chill with the family. You were enjoying yourself with your cousin sisters. Life is good, Allah is great.

Flower

You were a few days old and we were discussing about you and your name over breakfast.  All of us, me, your mother, Tok, Tokwan, Atah and Opah.  No violent objection and everyone agreed with it.

Hadith of Samurah - (RA) who said: Allah's Messenger (SAW) said:

"Every child is held in pledge for his' Aqeeqah which is sacrificed for him on his seventh day, and he is named on it and his head is shaved" (Reported by Ahmad, Abu Dawud and the remaining 3 Sunan)

The Hadith that the Messenger (SAW) ordered that the child be named on the seventh day, that the harm be removed from him and the sacrifice (the 'Aqeeqah) be performed. (Reported by Al-Tirmidhee)

Al Umm Madrasatul Ula

You were not well last week, body temperature hit 40' C.  A whole new experience for us.  Anyway, Allah knows best and we took it as a small test from Him.  Your mother took a day off on Monday and she took real good care of you.  That is why in Hadith Muslim, Book 32:6180 Rasulullah sallallahu alaihiwassalam stressed on it.

Abu Huraira reported that a person came o Allah,'s Messenger (may peace be upon him) and said : Who among the people is most deserving of a fine treatment from my hand ? He said : Your mother. He again said : Then who (is the next one) ? He said: Again it is your mother (who deserves the best treatment from you). He said: Then who (is the next one) ? He (the Holy Prophet) said : Again, it is your mother. He (again) said: Then who? Thereupon he said: Then it is your father. In the hadith transmitted on the authority of Qutalba, there is no mention of the word "the people".

Rainy Day

Alhamdulillah, it rained heavily just now.  As, usual traffic was heavy and yes, people in KL are frantic when it’s raining, double the fun when its on Friday.  No, I didn’t stay back, packed my stuffs and left the office asap.

As I wrote this, you were busy playing with the Ipad. Hugs and kisses. 

 Life is so full of .... (pls fill in d blank), but in the end we shud always be thankful, Alhamdulillah!
